- The distance between the unit and the remote control may be too far. Or the remote control is not aligned with the direction of the remote control receiver. Move the remote closer to the air conditioner and make sure that the remote control directly faces in the direction of the remote control receiver on the unit.
- Check battery installation. Make sure batteries are installed correctly.
- If batteries are installed correctly, replace with new batteries.
- If still unsuccessful, call customer service for remote replacement.
