There are a number of issues that could be causing the unit to not turn on. Please see below.
- Check to make sure air conditioner is plugged in securely. Always check by removing the plug, waiting 10 seconds, then plugging unit in again securely.
- Check for a blown circuit or fuse. A main circuit breaker may have been tripped due to electrical requirements. Test the outlet with another appliance if circuit breaker is operating properly.
- Make sure that both units are in the upright position.
- The room temperature could be lower than the set temperature on the air conditioner. Reset the temperature.
- Make sure that power is not shutdown.
- Double check wiring and no wiring is loose.
- Check voltage to ensure that it is not too high or too low. (To be measured by professionals)
- Check to make sure the set time for startup is not active.
